We believe a company must strive not only for commercial success but must take responsibility for the community and the environment in which it operates. Harmonious coexistence between an industrial environment and nature is not only possible but necessary.
One of the most important elements of the Green Code and the wider action programme is the City of Debrecen's tree-planting programme, whose first milestone — planting 10,000 new trees — has been successfully completed. Tree planting matters for a number of reasons, and we therefore offered 150 trees to support the continuation of the programme.

The tree-planting programme will not only make daily life more pleasant for those who live here but will help sustain the ecological balance of our city and its wider surroundings over the long term. Trees clean the air, reduce noise pollution, offer cooling shade and can lower air temperatures on summer days, among other benefits. All of that contributes to a more liveable urban environment.
The line of trees we planted runs from the edge of Józsa to the road leading to the Józsa motorway junction, so that this stretch of road now also functions as a green corridor.
SZINORG Group employees took an active part in planting the trees as a team-building exercise. Through their efforts and those of the other supporters taking part — responsible small and large Debrecen businesses, institutions, civic organisations and groups of friends alike — every tree planted has helped create a greener, more sustainable and more liveable Debrecen.
We are proud to contribute actively to our city's sustainability objectives, and to be part of an initiative that has a positive effect on the community and the environment alike.
