The plant is being built in a year as a joint investment by the SZINORG and XANGA groups. The development is worth some HUF 3.5 billion (EUR 10 million).

At the laying of the plant's foundation stone on 30 June, István Herdon, Chairman and CEO of the XANGA group, said negotiations with Sensirion had begun exactly a year earlier. The agreement was reached during the coronavirus pandemic, which will make the process memorable for everyone involved.

While the investment is made possible by the SZINORG and XANGA groups, it is also thanks to the Municipality of Debrecen and to EDC Debrecen Urban and Economic Development Centre that one of the leading Swiss companies in the electronics industry ultimately chose Debrecen as the location.
