International recognition: the Sensirion project delivered by SZINORG wins first place

We are proud that the Sensirion project in Debrecen took first place in the Operational Small Projects category at the Financial Times fDi Intelligence Investment Impact Awards 2026. The award recognises operational, high value-added investments in which technological standard, knowledge intensity and sustainable operation are the decisive criteria.

SZINORG's role: build-to-suit development, long-term value

This award means a great deal to us, because the project was delivered as a build-to-suit development through the joint cooperation of SZINORG Group and its investment partner. Construction was carried out by HUNÉP Zrt., our flagship construction company, creating future-ready industrial infrastructure aligned to the client's requirements.

Sustainability in practice: fossil-free solutions

Sustainability weighed heavily in the assessment, and both the completed building and its engineering played an important part. The systems supporting fossil-free operation, the modern building automation and the solutions serving resource efficiency show clearly how a developer's outlook and high-quality construction together create genuine value — recognised internationally.
