Answering a question from presenter István Pocsai, Mr Herdon said: "Interest in the city remains high, and we are being entrusted with increasingly complex projects. That is why we thought some time ago that we should begin various strategic partnerships."
He added that one part of this was building a strategic partnership with the Szinorg group, which also has a construction business, so as to meet those investor requirements as broadly as possible.
Mr Szűcs continued the recollection:
"In 2013 the board judged that HUNÉP owned a very large number of companies, and that not all of their activities fitted a construction profile. That is when we took the decision to reorganise the Group and move those activities into an asset management company."
Szinorg Zrt., spun out of HUNÉP, became that asset manager and the owner of the Group's member companies. Its role is to set the strategy for the member companies, support their operation and monitor it continuously, and to actively manage the assets the Group has built up over the years.
